Personal flying vehicles sit at the most emotionally powerful edge of the eVTOL market.
Air taxis are useful. Personal flying vehicles are the childhood dream: a machine you can own, fly, and use to escape the limits of roads.
But the buyer reality is more complex than the fantasy. The first serious buyers will need to understand aircraft category, training requirements, local operating rules, maintenance, storage, insurance, weather limits, range, payload, and where the vehicle can legally take off and land.
Companies to watch include Pivotal, Alef, Doroni, PAL-V, Samson Sky, and other personal aviation entrants. They do not all solve the same problem.
The site's buyer guide should not sell the fantasy. It should make the fantasy inspectable.
