An eVTOL aircraft can be impressive and still be commercially useless without the right ground system.

Air taxis need places to land, recharge or re-energize, board passengers, handle maintenance, coordinate with airports, manage weather delays, and integrate with local transportation networks.

That is why vertiports matter. A vertiport is the takeoff, landing, passenger, and operational hub for vertical-lift aircraft.

Charging is another constraint. Electric aircraft need reliable energy infrastructure, turnaround planning, battery safety procedures, and grid coordination. For high-frequency service, charging becomes a business-model issue, not just a hardware issue.

The infrastructure layer is where the industry becomes real or stalls.
